Today's Christ followers are all facing challenges and
spiritual warfare on unprecedented levels. So if that's what you can
identify with, please read on.
There was a battle waged against the people of God in
the 2nd book of Chronicles, in chapter 20. Please take the time to
read it if you are not familiar with it. In essence, when the enemy
attacked the children of Judah under the reign of King Jehoshaphat,
he took action and called upon the name of the Lord along with the
entire congregation. This was a national assault, and they needed
God's help.
When they sought the Lord, they knew it was way too
big for them to handle. Then the Lord came in verse 17 and He gave
them a command. He told them they would not even have to fight, and
that they could watch God work!
Look at this...
You will not need to fight in
this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and
see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and
Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against
them, for the Lord is with you.”
(2 Chronicles 20:17)
You are dealing with your own set of circumstances,
and no two people are alike in what they are facing, but it is no
less serious or important. My job as a minister of the gospel is to
encourage you from my own personal experiences as the Lord leads me.
Whenever I have called on Him in a time that was far
more than I could handle, He has always come through in ways I never
could have imagined and it always was a good result!
Whatever you are dealing with my friend, be
encouraged, because He is not only able to deliver you; He very much
wants to, no matter what it is. That's how good He is. Friend, He
began a good work in you and He fully intends to bring it to full
completion when Jesus returns. See Philippians 1:6.
This week, if you need prayer, we are always
available. We have an ongoing and endless list of people we are
praying for, and are always grateful for your prayers too. Be
encouraged dear sister and brother. Whatever you need Him to do,
stand upon His Word, and trust in His purposes and plans for you, and
know that no matter how it may look, He will be right by your side.
