The Lord our God has the most amazing way of speaking
to us! He knows what we need when we need it and if need be, He will
keep bringing it to us in His amazing love for us, until we get it!
As I was praying and seeking the Lord this morning, He
directed me to a teaching about praying in the spirit. I listened
intently, my heart was greatly moved.
Here is the essence of the message:
When we pray in our own intellect from the flesh, we
aren't getting much spiritual work done at all. In fact, Jesus said
to me, "Dead works!" He wasn't being mean, He was speaking
His holy wisdom to the church today. We need to pray in the unknown
tongue, known as praying in tongues so that we can do battle in the
spiritual realm.
So many are not winning the spiritual battles in their
lives because we haven't been praying correctly! The purpose of
speaking in tongues is for war and the glory of King Jesus! The
enemy, the devil, can't handle that because when we pray that way, we
are releasing warring angels and spiritual weapons that are tearing
down strongholds, and bringing breakthrough on greater levels than
most of us have ever seen or experienced.
Oh, but God wants so much more for us. We want to pray
in such a way that it is like a sword piercing through the darkness,
breaking chains and birthing real live miracles to improve our lives,
our cities and nations, families and the church!
My friend, if you are not praying in tongues, you are
missing out! You may ask God for the baptism of the Spirit with the
evidence of speaking in tongues, and He will freely give it...
In the book of Acts 2:1-4, God gave the Holy Spirit to
pray as the Lord gave them utterance...
And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to
speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
(Acts 2:4)
Only the Lord knows how and what we should pray for,
and He alone will give us the utterance. If we just pray from our own
will and intellect, He says that is dead works, and will accomplish
nothing. We want to see miracles signs and wonder follow us wherever
we go and preach the gospel. We want answers to our prayers. This is
the most powerful weapon in the spiritual realm. It will yield a
mighty move of divine power!
The battles that are being lost is because the church
isn't praying in the Spirit. Do you need healing? Receive it! Do you
need family restoration? Pray in the Spirit. Do you need finances?
Pray in the Spirit! Do you want to see strongholds broken? Pray in
the Spirit. Do you want to see a mighty move of God in the global
church in these last of the last days? Pray in the Spirit. Do you
want to live the 3 John 2 life that Jesus died to give you and your
family? Pay in the Spirit. Do you need wisdom for anything? Pray in
the Spirit! Don't look to man! Look to God!
Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Pray
in the Sprit. God is faithful and His mercies are new every morning.
Is He leading us to repent in these days and return to First Love?
Absolutely! He is coming back for a spotless, 100% committed to Him
bride, holy, spotless and filled with His Spirit.
Is that you? Are we playing church, or do we really
want to see a move of God in our lives and the lives of so many
others who are desperate for the Savior? Let's rise up and pray! In
the morning, during the day and at the end of the day, pray, pray and
pray! This is how heaven helps us to move the mountains (obstacles)
in this life! Let's do it saints! God is faithful!
May God bless you as you seek Him. Repent and receive
His love and forgiveness and power to move forward! He is good and to
be enjoyed! Many in the church are great doers and busy, but most are
not good receivers. How can we give what we haven't received?
