“The God Who Comforts”
“As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”” Isaiah 66:13 NKJV
““Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God.” Isaiah 40:1 NKJV
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,” II Corinthians 1:3 NKJV
When we
started out in life, we needed a lot of comfort. That would come from our
fathers and especially our mothers. As we went on, we continued to need comfort
from loving parents, siblings and even friends. As we aged, we never really
stopped needing to be comforted, for one reason if not another. Into our old
age we will need comfort every day of our lives. This what we need to see
today. No matter what we go through, there is only one faithful Comforter. That
is our God. Yes, we may turn to many things for comfort, but the only true
Source of lasting comfort will come from Father God through His Holy Spirit. Today,
no matter what we are going through, we are reminded by the Lord to look 👀
to the Him Who can bring comfort that will last. Remember that we need to keep
Him our first “go to” when we need it. Thank you for allowing me to minister
this word each week. I pray it blesses you greatly. If you know anyone who may
benefit from this little blog, please feel free to have them contact me. I love
you all in the Lord! Have a blessed week! ✝️🙏🏻🥰😘
