We have all had
lessons in understanding how important patience is, though that's not the
title of this message, but it's the core to the title. Seeking God's will
is of the utmost importance, and next, it's being patient enough to wait on
His perfect timing for that.
Look at this;
Teach me
Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.
Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; for false witnesses
have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence.
I would
have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness
of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be
of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on
the Lord! (Psalm 27:11-14)
There are many
verses in the Bible that tell us to seek God and then to wait on Him, but
how often do we really do that? Most of us get impatient or want it our own
way, and that always leads to troubles and a much lesser turnout than it
would have if we had waited on the Lord for His always better plan.
I think this is
a time when we as Jesus followers are being called to action to seek God's
face diligently everyday and depend on Him more than ever. He is coming
soon and we need to be closer to Him than ever before and 100% dependent on
His good plans for us. When I look back at how things went when I sought
God in my life's decisions, it went very well. Hit the knees and cry out to
Him, and then wait.
The times when
I hurried through things, it never seemed to work out as well. This was the
message the Lord placed on my heart today to share. May I be an encourager
for you today to go back to what works? Let's get back to seeking Him and
then trusting that He is working it all out for our good because we love
Him and are the called according to His purpose.
Have a
wonderful week and always let us know how we can be praying for or with
you!
This blog is
reaching people all over the world! God is sending His Word out to the
nations! Be blessed and filled dear friend and pass this message along to
others.
We love you so
much!
Love and
blessings!
