ALL ABOUT GRACE!!

Look at Luke 2 and you will see GRACE that is awesome! 

Just look at the grace of God as we see His timing and orchestration of how Jesus was brought into our desperately needy world. First in Luke 2 we see just the right timing and place for Jesus to be born, and all for very specific reasons. Then we see the awesome grace of God as He brought John the baptist to be a prophet to announce His soon coming. Ok, next, we see each detail of how the holy couple, Joseph and Mary were led to just the right place so He could be born with the sacrificial lambs because He is the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world to be that sin sacrifice for us one time and for all time. 

How awesome to see the grace of God give Simeon the privilege of seeing God's plan of redemption right before his eyes, the promise he long awaited for in his own heart. 

How about the grace he had on him when Holy Spirit came over him and he prophesied about the life and purpose He would fulfill to save every person who would believe, including His own earthly parents. 

Then there was the prophetess Anna who longed to see the redemption of Israel. Her prayers were not only answered, but she was allowed to see see Him come in her lifetime, and declare it to all the ones who wanted so see the redemption answer their hearts longed for. 

What about the amazing and ever so awesome grace when Holy Spirit opened your eyes to see the grace of God for yourself? How awesome did that feel when you first believed and came to know the Love of all loves in Jesus Christ our newborn and now resurrected King? 

Friend, today, I pray it is your privilege to be called a child of the Most High God through the rebirth, yes, being born not only of flesh but of water and the Spirit by the amazing grace of God which is the only way we can be saved! Oh I pray today that all over the globe people will come to know this wonderful Jesus Who loves us enough to have died for us and pay for our sins so that when we die and leave this life, we may live with Him in heaven and the new earth forevermore! 

This is amazing and awesome grace that leads us through the struggles of this life to a life of full devotion to a faithful Creator. There is only One True God and no other; only way way to go to heaven and live forever and that way is Jesus The Son of God. No wonder the hosts of heaven rejoiced that day when they saw the glory of God in the highest. 

Is that your heart today? If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, why not bow your knees and your heart before Him and ask Him to save you and heal you and help you live for Him? He is waiting. All you need to do is ask. 

I could tell you so many testimonies of the amazing things I have seen God so for me through His Spirit, but the best part is to know Him and the power of His resurrection. That is love! It is real and pure and beautiful. Experience it for yourself. You will never regret it.

Fiery Trials

But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The whole leap of faith word this am was about stepping out to do what the Lord calls us to do even when we do not understand and can’t see why or what He will do. 

Take that first step and trust. Trust is equal to faith and faith is equal to really truly believing the Lord has only our highest spiritual best advancement in mind when He asks us to do things! It is never to hurt us but it is always to help us! 

This is what He thinks about us…

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

To do like Abraham did when the Lord called him out of where he was, is to step out of what was known and comfortable to go to a new place with Jesus and see greater things than ever before in our journey with Him.

We don’t want it to become routine and so we must surrender it all to Him as we say, Lord I don’t know what You are doing and I sure enough do not understand, but I choose to trust You cause You have been so good to me! Yes Father God, You have been so good to me I cannot tell it all!”

It’s been so good and I want so much more! These fiery trials have been hard Lord, but you never promised those mountains to be easy or that cross to not get heavy Oh Lord! But You told me Lord Jesus that you have overcome the world and all I got to do is what You said in Your Word that I overcome…

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Father we do not live to live like this world, but we live to die daily as we surrender our lives to be led and fed by You and You alone! No man can save, heal or deliver, but You Oh Lord are a Shield for me, my glory and the lifter of my head! 

Awe Lord God, You said You have made me successful and here’s proof in Your Word! 

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭57‬-‭58‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And how can we do this Lord God but that You gave us the answer…

“So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’ ””

‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV

And Father God, when we feel weak and unable to do it on our own, oh Lord that’s just where we will gain the victory because You promised…

“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My King Jesus and my Bright Morning Star, thank You for saving me and calling me to take up my cross and follow You! Every time I start to feel it’s too heavy I’m going to cast the care it over onto You because Your arm is not too short and Your shoulders were built to carry every burden…

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Lord Jesus Christ, that’s why You are the Lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world because Lord Jesus You knew we couldn’t handle the sin, sickness or any other issues this life is sure to bring without Your holy presence in our lives! 

Father God of all comfort, let Your promises for us penetrate our hearts and minds as we go forward in the faith, never looking back knowing that You are with us and will never leave us or forsake us, even when the wind, the waves, the fire and the waters seem to rise in our lives! Thank You Lord Jesus for all You have done for me! I love You Lord!!!!!

“I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.”

In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations— “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh. Col. 2:

Today I was reminded by Holy Spirit that what we do in this life and the mistakes or choices we might make on a given day that may not be the right choice always, we cannot allow the devil to try to convince us that Jesus' sacrifice was not enough, because it was! We can take everything to Jesus, to the cross and nail it there. Why? Because He was nailed there. We do not have to live in guilt, shame or condemnation ever. If we mess up, we can "fess up" and that's all there is to it. By His grace, we have been saved. Why? Because the Lord knew before the world was created that we could never live up to a set of rules. The Old Testament clearly shows us how He wanted us to live, and because He is perfect, righteous and holy, none of us could ever measure up. So He had already slain Jesus before the foundation of the world, so the sin problem has been taken care of. Look at this...

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

We are saved by grace, God's grace. We are kept by His love. Remember that it is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. (See Rom. 2:4)

Also, remember this...

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!

(Psalm 27:13-14)

I want to encourage you today as the Lord Jesus has encouraged me. God is for us. He is with us, not against us. He will never leave or forsake us. The devil is a liar and all he wants to do is accuse you day and night before God and that is why he is called the accuser of the brethren. So do not lose heart. Jesus told us we were going to have troubles in this world. But, He also told us to take courage because He has overcome the world! Be strong, be courageous because the Lord our God is with us wherever we go. Do not get caught up in a "works" mentality, which is bondage. Let yourself be held in the  loving arms of grace and mercy - the mercy of God through Jesus Christ our risen Lord and Savior. God has blessed you and I bless you in Jesus Name! Amen!

He Touched Me!

 

He Touched Me

Many go to church but don’t get into the presence of the Lord! In Matthew 23, Jesus was showing us that the people were weighed down with heavy burdens. They were caught up in the law - do this, do that. But Jesus was there telling the religious leaders in Jerusalem that He wanted to gather them like a mother hen gathers her chicks, but they weren't willing. They were shackled by a heavy burden of to do's instead of doing what Mary chose, the best part, just to sit with Jesus in His presence and rest and listen to Him. 

Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. (Mt. 23:1-4)

God is a still small voice. We have to take the time to tune everything else out and be quiet so we can hear His voice. We need to get into His presence.

I was awakened with the song, "He touched me," This led me into the Word of God and into His presence where I let out a lot of stress, tears, repentance and worship. 

When Jesus came to save the people of Israel, many were to bound by the Old Testament to do list. They needed to break away from all that and just be a Mary at His feet, like many of the multitudes were doing. Listen to what He is telling us, and get a hold of it today..

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)... (Galatians 3:13)

We need to take the time to stop and rest in His presence and allow Him to minister too us and us to Him. Then we get refreshed and refueled and able to go forth to minister to others. 

Today is Labor Day in the US, and for many, that means a day off work. This should be a time where we can bask in the warmth of His love and not be so busy. Daily, we must seek His presence first and foremost and then allow Holy Spirit to lead us from there. 

Yes, Jesus is calling us into His presence where there is indeed, fullness of joy.
