It has been awesome to watch God work through us in the
marketplace. As most of our contacts know, we help people with
Medicare to get health plans. But some may not know how we are
bringing our marketplace customers into the realms of the spirit. A
lot like Paul did in his tent making business.
This week, and it's just Thursday, we have had multiple
opportunities to pray for people. In one case, we drove all the way
to North Port from Ft. Myers to pray for a man who is dying from lung
cancer! Even though he said he believes in Jesus and is a Christian,
both he and his wife accepted the doctor's report saying even if he
got all the chemotherapy and radiation, it would only prolong the
inevitable!
Sadly, they accepted this report, and they are just
managing through their days as best they can, with a weekly visit
from hospice. When I prayed for him, I first explained the real
gospel to him and this is the time to get his heart right and get rid
of any bitterness, unforgiveness, etc. I explained what it means to
be a follower of Jesus. I could see tears. Then we took hands and
prayed. I immediately began to cry, as did the man. I could tell Holy
Spirit was at work in his heart.
Yesterday, we prayed for a woman in her 40's where the
cancer had come back in her breast. She said she wanted to pray and
believes strongly in the Lord. After we prayed and cancelled the
assignment of cancer in her life, we counseled her to not allow herself
to own that cancer ever again. She will need to speak life over
herself frequently, and not death. She will have to agree with what
Jesus said in His Word...
But He was wounded for our
transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
That's it in a nutshell! One power packed sentence in
God's Word, which, by the way, never returns void, telling us that
His stripes already healed us, spirit, soul and body! All we have to
do is believe and receive it by faith. Friends, I have seen too many
healings not to believe the report of the Lord. He has done
miraculous healings in my life and many that I have seen with my own
eyes.
How about you? What are you dealing with in your body?
Do you believe the report of the doctor? Or will you, by faith,
believe in the report of the Lord that says you ARE healed? Jesus is
still healing people today, and He loves faith. Look at what the centurion
said in the Bible. He told Jesus that He didn't need to even go to
his house to heal his servant. All He needed to do was speak a word
and his servant would be healed! Now that's faith.
And how does your faith to believe all this come? Oh
friend, it comes by hearing the Word of God! That's all there is to
it. Today I want to encourage you. No matter what physical ailment
you may be struggling with, ask Jesus to heal you and believe that He
has already provided this for you. Then stand on that until you see
the manifestation of it come into the natural realm.
You can see the goodness of God in the land of the
living. He is faithful! He loves us so much that He sent Jesus to
provide us with this rich inheritance. But how many will partake of
it? Will you?
