It's a New Year, with new goals and hopes and dreams. We must move into a new season of blessing understanding the love of God, no matter what the circumstances may be in one's life.
For many of us, God is elevating our work and ministry after a long time of waiting. There have been battles and delays, but we have been standing in faith on the promises of God. Through every battle, trial and storm, our God is with us. No matter the season we are in, there is only one safe, strong place to be and that is dwelling in the presence of the Lord our God.
Many folks will focus on the news, and all the crazy things that are happening out there. They are looking for hope, but certainly not finding it in the natural things of this world. The only place we can find the comfort and reassurance that we need is by drawing near to God.
As we process life through the lens of what God promised us in His Word, I believe the greatest encouragement one can mediate on is that:
- God loves us
- God is for us
- God is with us
When we cannot discern His voice, we can trust His loving hand to guide us through every season, transition, and battle life tries to bring.
We can remember that He crowns our year with goodness, and His paths drip with abundance. Remember the Lord, our Father God and Savior and Helper came to this earth to take back unto Himself that which the devil had tried to take.
What many Christians do not believe is that Jesus was and is God in the flesh, so that, even though God is a Spirit, He made Himself easy to see, touch and listen to when He came down from heaven to rescue us from sin and death.
I am praying that the Christmas story, and its most powerful meaning will dwell in all our hearts throughout this year.
It's our prayer that this year, more than ever we will believe that Jesus provided once and for all our complete healing, spirit, soul and body. All we have to do is to reach up and take it and appreciate the priceless gift for what it is.
He gives us everything we need for life and godliness, yesterday, today and forever. He is our faithful Lord and best Friend. He answers our questions, stops all confusion, and gathers us to Himself like a mother hen with her chicks.
Many do not really understand how much God loves us and is fun to be with. He has a sense of humor as well as His serious desire for us to just walk and talk with Him daily.
He truly longs for us to live a joy filled Third John 2 Life. One of gratitude and humility. A willingness to follow Jesus closely and to lay down our own way, knowing His way is wonderful and best even when we cannot understand it.
As a minister of the gospel, we speak with people everyday who do not believe in healing or praying in tongues or many other spiritual gifts that God has wrapped up in the beautiful package called Jesus.
But today, and this year, will you step out and believe how much He loves you like never before? Will you read and stand on the Word of God like never before, and confess life and healing over yourself and your life and that of your loved ones?
There will never be disappointment when we follow Jesus. Sure, we may not always understand what He is doing, but we can KNOW without a doubt that He is working things together for our good because we love Him and are the called according to His purpose.
This year, let's step out in faith and do the things the Lord is putting on our hearts to do, and let Him show us how to do it. He makes us new, and He renews our youth like the eagle. Be blessed as you contemplate new joy in your relationship with the Lord this year. He will never fail us. Allow the verse from 3 John 2 to inspire you to greater depths this year - in Jesus mighty Name. https://youtu.be/ftTtNzwIB_s . We would love to hear from you on how you are doing and pray for you.
