Here is a word about God’s kind of love as it touched me from 1 Cor. 13:4-8…
"My Interpretation of God's Kind of Love."
Love suffers long and never gives up. Love is kind, always kind. That's how you know it's the Lord our God. Love doesn't envy; it loves to see other people do well. Love doesn't parade itself; it's humble. Love isn't prideful or boastful. God's kind of love shows that love never is rude to anyone, never. Love doesn't seek its own interest but is deeply interested in others' well-being. Love is not easily provoked.
Is not quick to respond to others' behavior. Love doesn't meditate on evil things. Love isn't in agreement with sin, but love rejoices in truth, and Jesus is the truth. Love bears all things; there is nothing love can't handle. Love has a faith that won't quit, believing the best at all times. Love is hope-filled in all things always. Love endures anything, everything, all the time.
Love never, never, never fails. That love is God and God's love is in me. So my love which is of God can never fail. Our comfort and victory is all wrapped up in God's love. It's over us, in us, at work, all around us all the time always.
Look at this in Ephesians 3:18-19…
Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! TPT
be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. Back to the book of John, we are still looking into God’s love and healing that run together like the oil Mary poured over Jesus at Bethany in chapter 12. Seeing Lazarus raised from the dead made a believer out of many Jews, so the Jewish leaders wanted to kill him.
God wants His glory, His love for us to be displayed in the things He has done for us, so many others can see it and believe that Jesus is still healing today. Those Pharisees saw what was happening and got so upset. They said this in chapter 19… “You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him.”
We see an amazing thing. People encountered Jesus and their lives were never the same. They couldn’t help but follow Him because He is love. Love heals. Many are worshipping things that either don’t exist, or the wrong things, and none of it can love, heal and set free like Jesus Who is very alive and actively healing people today. I know it. I have witnessed it.
