The Events Following Advent

 The Events following Advent

What happens now? Christmas came with all its excitement as we were once again filled with wonder and awe that God would come to earth in the form of His Son as a tiny babe born to live and die for the sins of the world so we could one day live with Him in heaven!

Now the year is coming to an end and we are commissioned to go out and lay hold of a new season, a new calendar year, reminded of what our purpose really is.

Last week we discussed the Announcement, the Birth and the Witness. This week we reflect on what Jesus called us to do after He completed His purpose here on earth just before ascending to heaven. Let’s look at each account of this at the end of each gospel account.

In Matthew 28, Jesus said to His disciples to go… ”Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.“ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In Mark… ”And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.“ ‭‭Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In Luke…

”Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things.“ ‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭46‬-‭48‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

 And John…

”So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.“ ‭‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

After each declaration of love in response to Jesus’ questions, the Lord was giving Peter an assignment - to feed His sheep. In every gospel account, these faithful witnesses heard Jesus give a command to go out and preach the Gospel to the world. And go they did!

Today, you and I are born again witnesses of what Jesus did in our lives. We are called to do exactly what was written in His Word and go and tell others!

Just yesterday morning, I went to the lad to have some blood drawn. It was quiet and I was the only one there. The young lady who helped me was so nice. When we got all done, I asked her if she would like a sticker. I told her she could even pick the one she wanted. She got excited and the door was open to talk about Jesus!

It was another amazing experience of explaining the gospel. She was all ears and as she mentioned things she was concerned about, I was able to ask questions to keep the conversation going. She knows of God and prays but had never asked Him to be her Lord and Savior.

Step by step, I explained what the Bible says about each of her concerns, and about the specific things she needed to know. Holy Spirit had led me to be a witness to her yesterday and I was so blessed to be used to lead a lost soul to Jesus!

I want to encourage you as our Lord did long ago to go and be a witness! Use whatever it takes to turn the conversation from the natural to the spiritual. For me it was Christian stickers I picked up from the Christian bookstore. You can use all kinds of things as I have over the years. Just get something that works for you or helps you to tell your story. People are dying to hear it.

Thank you for listening! Now go in Jesus Name! You’ll be blessed if you do! Denny and I are praying for you every day. 🙏🏻 Much love and blessings be unto you in your coming and going in Jesus Name for the New Year! Much more in 24!

Feel free to share this message with anyone. You may give them my number so they can receive these messages too. It is sent out individually, so you can respond if you like.

The Announcement The Birth The Witness

 Christmas Eve Message

The Announcement, The Birth, The Witness

The announcement…

”“And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, To give knowledge of salvation to His people By the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”“

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭76‬-‭79‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

John the Baptist was the chosen man of God to appear just before Jesus our Savior would arrive on the world scene. God our Father had a wonderful plan of redemption that had been prophesied for hundreds of years.

While God’s people were crying out for their Deliverer, the Lord was setting in motion His grand plan of redemption. He chose Elizabeth to bring forth the one who would announce the arrival of our long awaited Savior.

Then the arrival of Jesus…..

"Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”“

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus came at the appointed time to save all mankind from their sins! Hallelujah! Born of a virgin and He came as the Son of God to become like us so we could grow to be like Him.

The witness……

”And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”“

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭25‬-‭29‬, ‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus’ coming was told to us long before He was ever born, and then He appeared to the world in a stable where sheep are born because He would be the Lamb Who would be slain for the sins of the world.

Then God confirmed His Word to all mankind, allowing the devout man of God, Simeon, to not only see and hold Jesus, but to confirm what His purpose would be.

God always confirms His Word! How wonderful it is each year and in fact, each day to celebrate the coming of Jesus the first time, and to anticipate and prepare for His promised second coming.

Church get ready! Go and tell it in all your world that Jesus Christ has come and is coming back!

You are now the witness! Tell people how God saved you out of a life of sin and darkness and how He came to set them free! Be bold! Be gentle, just be faithful to tell the people who God sends into your life!

A lot of people have gotten mad at me in my family and some friends for telling them about Jesus, but I don’t let that stop me! Go out there and tell them! This world needs their Savior!

Merry Christmas to you and may your families be blessed this Christmas with restoration and health and joy in Jesus Name! Amen 🙏🏻

Please share this blog with anyone and give them my number so they can be added to our ever growing list. It’s private so you can respond to us if you like.

Come Celebrate Jesus

 Sunday Mesage Dec 17

Come Celebrate Jesus with Us!

”For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”“ ‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Read all of Luke 2 for the whole story!

And celebrate we did! Wow! If ever we have had a party during our marriage, this one was the absolute over the top best of the best! The weather forecast didn’t look good, so we prayed and took authority over the rain. It was an all day open house Christmas party to celebrate the goodness of God!

Slowly at first, then the momentum picked up and people came and stayed and went and more kept coming. Some stayed awhile while others stayed the whole day! It was awesome as we talked about the Lord and the great things He has done in our lives!
Like our pastor said today, we need to have crazy faith because with God all things are possible! We don’t care if they call us nuts because the glory and blessings of God will be seen in our lives and then others will want some too! As the day progressed, I was so blessed to look around our home and see all of our dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ having such a great time.

The weather looked like an old fashioned winter day - which we appreciated after a long hot summer, with a pretty steady drizzle. It only rained a little harder when we were all snuggly tucked inside! It pays to know our authority over things as followers of Jesus!

There was plenty of food and it seemed we had ordered just the right amount of stuff. There was joy and Holy Spirit laughter that had one gal on the floor of our tiny kitchen just overwhelmed by God’s goodness. We closed the day with praying for each other and then turned up the music as we listened to Brandon Lake sing, “Tear off the Roof.”

God had set the whole thing up in a way no human could have. We were so touched by His Spirit we felt like our legs would come out from under us. It seemed to start at our service on Friday night, and it flowed through the day yesterday throughout the entire gathering, and continued into today!

So what do we do when we have times like this? We cherish the One True God Who came to earth to die for our sins and give us a new life, a life free from bondage so we can tell others about His goodness as we daily rejoice in his presence! I was going to fast today, but didn’t quite hit the mark with the party leftovers, but, everyday is a fast of one sort or another as we follow Jesus and lead others there too!

This Christmas season, if you are invited somewhere to attend a party, just bring His presence into the room and watch expecantly to see what the King of kings will do! It’s all about Him, for Him and by Him!

Make it a time to celebrate the people in your life, both the ones who know Jesus and the ones you are praying will get there! Praise Him for loving us that much that He sent us Himself in the form of a humble baby! And praise Him for helping others see Who He really is while they are on their journey!

Let’s celebrate Jesus together, shall we!

Family, Forgiveness & Freedom

 Family, Forgiveness & Freedom

”And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.“ ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭32‬ ‭NKJV

It’s Christmas time once again, and most of us have family that we may need to spend time with throughout the season. For some, it’s a joyous time and we have strong family relationships that we cherish and delight to spend time with them.

If that’s you, thank God for that blessing! There’s many others who have family relationships that are strained at best. We didn’t get to pick our family - that was God’s job.

However, we can choose how we treat them. That’s always our job. So many people have been hurt, and have hurt themselves or others. The results can bring estrangement and a lot of pain. One thing I have learned in my life’s experiences is that as a daughter, wife and mother, I never wanted to be hurt, nor did I ever want to hurt anyone.

As we experience traumatic things that have hurt us in our families, we must first stop and realize that each one has their own hurts and ideas of how to handle them. I hear so many people say they dread getting together with their own family because of past hurts.

How sad that truly is! God’s plan for family is to love each other unconditionally like He loves us. When there has been hurtful things happen, as Christians, we must be willing to forgive and leave it in the past where it belongs.

Then we must patiently work together to rebuild the “ancient ruins”. Many may choose to hold grudges for years, refusing to let go of the bitterness and pain. But in so doing, we are choosing to take a daily dose of poison and hope the other person is doing all the suffering.

It’s sad that we choose to punish people for their mistakes and hold a grudge, especially when we celebrate the true reason for Christmas which is Jesus, the greatest forgiver of all times! This Christmas, if you have a family member that you need to forgive, you can choose to make an effort to emulate Jesus, to forgive and forget and learn to love again! ❤️‍🩹

Love always wins over bitterness and anger! It always triumphs and soothes a hurting heart. As a born again Christian, I pray that this Christmas we will boldly stand for Jesus, and yet humbly follow His pattern of love and forgive those whom we need to forgive. His love never fails and we want to live out that agape kind of love that doesn’t put conditions on our love.

We love because He loves us! This Christmas, instead of choosing the bondage that bitterness and unforgiveness brings, I pray that we will all choose the freedom that true, godly forgiveness brings. I pray we can act like the One Who designed the family, and reflect His image to a hurting world.
Only the Lord knows what a difference it can make in how we feel this Christmas. Today the Lord helped me see that I can not only walk in love and forgiveness toward any family members who have hurt me, but I can be free to be the me He created me to be as I stand with Him through it all!

May you and your family be so blessed with these loving attributes of God this Christmas - the gifts that keep right on giving all year long!

Jesus is Calling

 Sunday Message Dec 3

 “Jesus Calling”
“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It’s the time of year when people are out shopping and preparing for parties and the coming celebration on Christmas day. As a Christian, we are to be ever sensitive to the command Jesus gave us in Mark 16 telling us to go into all the world to preach the gospel.

What does that mean if we don’t believe we are called to travel the world? Well, let me tell you about an experience I had with a young man who served lunch to my husband and I earlier this week.

We had just come from an appointment where we enrolled a lovely lady in a Medicare plan for next year. She had expressed a need for prayer over some things that had been troubling her. We were thrilled that Holy Spirit would use us to pray with and for her. We had a lovely time with her. We left feeling so blessed to be used to help her.

We decided to go to lunch and ended up at an unplanned restaurant. A very nice young man came to serve us. He was probably early twenties at best and was very personable and friendly. I looked at him and said, “You’re so nice you must know Jesus!” He replied, “I know about Him.”

Then I asked him if he wanted to know more. He smiled and told me that a lot of people have been talking to him about Jesus lately. I asked him, “Do you know why that’s happening?” He said, “no, why?”

Then I explained that the Lord is drawing him. I told him about many others who I have spoken to where that was happening. After talking a few more moments, we placed our order and had our meal.

When we were leaving, I gave the waiter our ministry business card. The next thing I knew, Holy Spirit was all over me as I began to explain the times we are living in and how important it is for a revival in the church and for people to hear the gospel.

I told him that God wanted to use him to go preach the gospel in all the world and how right there where he is at is his world. It’s where he would be used. I explained about heaven and hell and how Jesus told us about the days we are living in.

The young man was captivated and said he would check it out! He seemed very excited and interested. I got in the car and we drove to yet another wonderful appointment while we marveled at what God had just done! It was another “Annabel” moment. I wrote about her in an earlier blog.

How about you? Are you looking for those opportunities to preach the gospel to a revival ready world? Please remember that there will be some who won’t want to hear it, but for those who are out there with their spiritual hearts ready to receive, we must be there ready to open our hearts and mouths to be used!

I was so excited to share this experience with you all today! There are now about 100 people getting this blog, not including the one’s on our official blog site who are reading it around the world! My friends, God is on the move in a big way calling many into His kingdom!

Will you be a vessel He can use? If so, get busy because Jesus is calling and He’s coming back soon! Church get ready!

I pray the Lord will lead you and make your tongue the pen of a ready writer now and in the days to come.

Steadfast Devotion

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭58‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with the remembrance of all that God has done over the past year. As we enter into the season of Christmas, I was reminded this morning that the first thing we need to maintain through it all is steadfast devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

May our passion burn brighter for Him and the fire in our soul be obvious to those around us as a result of all our Beloved Savior has done for us. How amazing that He came as a Lamb for us to die and save us from destruction so we could have a daily encounter with His precious Spirit!

He tells us to be steadfast and immovable always abounding in His work - the work of the Kingdom of God. This will mean keeping Him always in front of us as our First and most important love. ❤️ After that, it’s about doing the work He called us to do and be diligent about it! Nothing can compare to the work He calls us into.

May we go into this coming week with our minds fixed on Jesus and doing the work He has called us to do with a renewed passion so others can really see that something is different about us! Let the Jesus in you this week and in the time to come be seen by everyone you encounter so they too will want to join in the great work we are called to do in these times!

If you would like to share this message with others, please feel free to give them my number!

Thanksgiving- What’s it really all about?

 Sunday Message Nov 19

Thanksgiving-What’s it really all about?

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭105‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It’s that time of year once again. The autumn season has come, and the weather is just a bit cooler. People are making great plans for family and friends to gather.

Robust dinner plans are in the making and it’s busy, busy, busy as we go to and fro, adding our holiday preparations to our already overloaded schedules.

This morning in my time with the Lord I was reminded to keep the main thing the main thing. What is that you ask? It’s taking the time to be thankful to God for all He has done for us all year long.

The original Thanksgiving was all about that. Yes, they made a meal to celebrate. The ones who survived that first season were more than grateful to God for sustaining them through all the difficulties they had to face.

There were many who risked their lives to come to a land where they could be spiritually free and worship the one true God! For the few who actually made it, we can be sure they knew why they were celebrating!

God had brought them through and honored their plight to come to a place where He would be thanked and welcomed as the Head at their table and keeper of their lives.

Many of us have had challenges and trials of one sort or another since the last time we gathered to give Him thanks. There’s one thing I have learned about that. No matter the pain, difficulties or trials, He is still passionately in love with us, His people.

We are still here and He is still healing, comforting and providing. God goes before us each day and helps us keep on going in good times and in bad.

This year, I pray that we will all take the time to stop and really remember the true purpose for this holiday. I pray we will be grateful no matter what and be passionate about our adoration of Who Jesus is and all He has saved us from!

May we continue to pray for all those we know who needs it, including Israel and the Ukraine. Let’s continue to be thankful as His children every day, and keep praying for a mighty revival among all the nations, so we will see the highway of people going to Jerusalem to praise the Lord!

May your Thanksgiving be so blessed and invite someone who doesn’t have anyone to share the day with!

Please feel free to share this with family and friends and give them my number.

These blogs go out individually, not as a group text!

We love you all in Jesus! ✝️❤️🙏🏻

Love Comfort Rest

 Love, Comfort & Rest

“And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.” ‭‭

Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭30‬

‭NKJV‬‬ In this last week we had many opportunities to meet with people and pray for them as we helped folks with their Medicare health insurance. There was a lot of pouring ourselves out, so between figuring out people’s prescriptions, doctors and what plan is best, beside the greater part of praying, Sunday comes leaving us feeling a bit drained and in need of God’s love, comfort and rest.

At church today, that was coming through from the Lord to just come to Him and rest. He said He loves us so much. I was reminded this morning in the Word that He is the God of all comfort. That’s just the thing that we need from the only one who can give it the way we need it the most!

Perhaps you have had a very busy week like most of us and just need to stop and take a break and breathe in Jesus’ love, compassion and rest today.

As we go through this week, my prayer is that we continue to receive His love, strength, emotional and spiritual rest along with His wonderful guidance everywhere He leads us.

If you would like others to receive these weekly blogs, feel free to give them my number. I love you all dearly and thank God for each one of you! ✝️🙏🏻😘

You Never Know Who You Can Help

 Sunday Message Nov 5

“You Never Know Who You Can Help” ““The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭50‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It has been another very busy week helping people with their insurance. Tis the season. We also had many opportunities to pray with and for people, everywhere we went carrying God’s presence to people who were weary for one reason or another.

I went in to order a sandwich at one place, and a sweet young gal came up to help me. She was very young and pretty, yet she looked tired and weary. All I did was ask if she was ok and she confirmed she was tired. I agreed that she certainly looked tired. Next, I asked her if she knew Jesus and she said yes. She told me she used to go to church but hasn’t for a long time. I told her that Jesus loves her very much and wants her to come back to Him. First one tear trickled out, and then her sweet face became flooded with tears. At that point I reassured her that He would comfort her and she thanked me.

Later in the week I certainly needed some reassurance myself. I went to pick up a smoothie for us and I was nudged by Holy Spirit to tell the young lady serving me that Jesus loved her. She smiled and looked me right in the eye and said, “He loves you too.” That touched me so deeply.

I see it again and again how He uses us to touch so many people, always wanting us to come closer to Him. Let’s think about that this week. Spending time loving Him first, and then allowing Him to use us to touch others. Many times it’s such a simple comment that can touch someone in the deepest place!

May you have a blessed week. Feel free to share my number with anyone who might like to receive these blogs! God bless you ✝️🙏🏻🥰😘

Deep Love, Passion and Faith

 Sunday Message Oct 29

Deep Love, Passion & Faith

Song: Resurrender

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This week’s message comes as a strong reminder to us all that Jesus is looking at our hearts, longing to see our love for Him expressed in our daily actions.

He is looking at our passion level. He looks at the faith we have in our hearts to follow after Him, whether we are in a mountain top season or the valley.

We heard a lot today in the two services at our church and it is a powerful reminder to keep our hearts with all diligence like the Bible says. We want good things to flow from our hearts and mouths!

We need to remember to watch what we speak over our lives and circumstances so we don’t give the devil anything to work with.

We can remember the awesome things God has spoken over us personally and in His Word and trust Him to carry it out! He is faithful.

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We are speaking spirits created in His image, so all that we believe and say matters a lot!

I pray that we will all live a humble repentant life before our God and that no matter how it looks or what life may try to throw at us, we will stand in deep love, passion and faith and walk humbly each day with our God.

He doesn’t do it all for us, but He will walk with us and give us the strength to do what we need to do. Let’s stand on His Word!

Love, prayers and blessings to you today and always in Jesus powerful Name!

Press On - Sunday October 22 2023

Sunday Message Oct 22 23

 Press On

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,” Philippians 3:13 NKJV

These are difficult days in our world to say the least! Most of us are experiencing some challenge if not many. We are pressed, stressed and overly stimulated by outside things. We get tired and weary in the well doing.

Today at our service, we were encouraged to keep on going to run our race and finish our course! Jesus called every one of us to do something to follow Him. And each one of us has a different calling. He didn’t say it would be easy. Even in His sinless human state before going all the way to Calvary, He felt the pressure from the enemy to just give up! It was an intense moment for Him.

He had to remember that His Father in heaven had a will and a purpose that would achieve an amazing thing to bless many people with salvation if He would ride it out and finish His course. Today we were reminded that the journey isn’t supposed to be easy or convenient. It will be difficult and there will be battles.

In the story of the runner who was injured, we see that once he tore the hamstring in his leg, he could no longer run to ‘win’, but as his father came out onto the track to help him run the rest of the race with excruciating pain and tears streaming down his face, he was able to cross the finish line. In the world’s eyes he may not have won, but the truth is that he won because he didn’t give up when all hope seemed lost! He crossed the finish line!

Our loving Heavenly Father reminded me this morning before I ever heard the Pastor’s message today that He doesn’t give up on us! He lovingly comes out on the “track of this life” and holds us up so we can successfully run and finish our course. It might be through pain and tears, but we must not give up on ourselves!

All of this spoke loudly to my heart and comforted me greatly as I thought of things I have experienced. This verse was in my Bible app this morning:

Ps. 119:49-50 nkjv "Remember the word to Your servant upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction...".

Abba Father is right there encouraging us and holding us as we go through it all! He will never leave us or forsake us. Jesus promised this. May the tough things be used to draw us closer and closer to Jesus and His heart; the Father’s heart ♥️ remembering that even as He allows difficult things in our life, He always leads us to victory if we don’t give up.

Finally, here is what Paul said:

“For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:6-7 NKJV

I’m asking the Lord to encourage each of you as you read and apply this to your own circumstances this week and in the days that follow!

Much love and blessings to you all in Jesus Name! ✝️🙏🏻🥰♥️

PRAYING FOR ISRAEL SUNDAY OCT 15 2023

Sunday Message Oct 15 23

Praying for Israel

today and every day, I was given this prayer this morning that we can pray for Israel and for ourselves. “Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,” Psalms 17:8 NKJV Keep me as the apple of Your eye, hide me in the shadow of Your wings until these calamities pass by. Renew my strength and give me fresh fire to fight the holy fight of faith! Bear me up on eagles wings and cause me to soar high above my enemies!

Cause my feet to walk on the mountains until they become level ground! May my enemies scatter far from me and may Your fresh wind blow upon my soul and come through as a cool summer morning breeze! Take my heart in Your hands and mold it into one that looks like Yours and may my desires be counted as effective investments in the kingdom of God and may all our ways prosper according to Your Word that never fails! We can pray that over Israel and our own life.

I’m standing with you in prayer and we know it is powerful and effective in the mighty Name of Jesus! Have a blessed week as you pray and share Jesus with others! ✝️🙏🏻🥰 If you know anyone who would like to receive this blog, please share my phone number with them. ♥️ This is not a group text, so you can always reply to me individually. 🤗

Completely Surrendered

Sunday Message 10.8.23

Completely Surrendered

““You shall have no other gods before Me.’” For I, the Lord, am a jealous God. From Exodus 20:3, 5

🎼You Won’t Relent

Today at church we were getting deep into the presence of God. At one point, our pastor ordered the lights to be turned off except for the backlit crosses hanging on the wall. All we focused on as we sang and worshipped was Jesus - nothing else! Sadly, I heard later that there was a lady and her mother sitting next to friends of mine and they were talking and laughing. One of them said they didn’t think it would be “like this!” The mother got up and walked out!

What we keep hearing from the Holy Spirit of God is that He wants all of our heart. ♥️ He longs for us to love Him back as He loves us. A person might ask, “What does that mean?” All I can say to that is that we need to give Him our whole heart by keeping Him as our first love above family, friends, activities, belongings, etc. It means that He means more to us than anything and that we enjoy spending time with Him and reading His Word. It means that we will allow Him to lead and guide our daily life and be obedient to what He shows us to do. It means that His opinion of how we live our lives matters more to us than all others.

We have gotten away from keeping Jesus first in the body of Christ. We have put the things we ‘do’ as more important than the One we supposedly do them for. I guess it would be like having a spouse or friend wanting to do certain things for us but they didn’t want to just spend time with us. That would hurt our feelings, wouldn’t it? God is a person too and He has feelings also. The bottom line is to start with our love relationship with Him first. Then, all the others can be appreciated and enjoyed after that.

This week, we can repent and stop putting other things and people first and get to know not only the Words on the pages of the Bible, but get to know the One Who wrote it! I love and pray for you all! In Jesus wonderful Name! If you know anyone who would appreciate this weekly message, feel free to give them my number. Be blessed in His presence! ✝️♥️🙏🏻

Healing

 Sunday Message 10.1.23 Healing ❤️‍🩹

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38 NKJV

You may be dealing with a sickness or disease. Perhaps you have been going through a battle and need to get loose of it. Or, maybe you have an addiction of some kind that is keeping you from receiving all God has for you! If so, I have good news for you today! Today’s verse tells us that Jesus went about healing ALL who were oppressed of the devil.

My friend, any sickness, disease or bondage comes straight from the devil himself. Today, if you need to be healed physically, emotionally or spiritually, you can count on Jesus! He wants you healed! We only need to call on Him and if we believe and receive by faith, we will be healed.

Just this morning I came across a lovely neighbor on our walk with Jesse. She asked us to pray as she said her cancer may have come back in her breast. I immediately prayed for her and took authority over the disease in Jesus Name! She was encouraged by Holy Spirit to raise her faith. “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:23-24 NKJV

There we have it. Seems so simple doesn’t it? But it’s God’s eternal word and it never returns without accomplishing the purpose for which it was sent. “If God said it, I believe it, and that settles it!” Will you make this your statement of faith today? We have to believe it all the way through the waiting to receive it. Jesus wants you healed!

Be encouraged my dear friend and let me know if you have received a healing. You may share my number with others if someone you know might be interested in receiving these messages. Praying for you 🙏🏻✝️

We Are Free in Christ!

Sunday message 9.17.23 We Are Free in Christ!

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”” John 8:32 NKJV

Have you ever felt like there was an area of your life where you felt like you weren’t free? It could be anything where you don’t feel like you have complete control. For some it’s an addiction. It could be electronics, like spending too much time on the phone, computer, etc. It can be food addiction of some kind, or sadly, for some in the church even pornography or other things like alcohol, etc. I never struggled with food or sugar until I began raising kids. Then it got a bit out of control.

I needed Jesus to set me free. I admit sometimes I get in the flesh and don’t always make the best choices but I thank God that He is patient with me! When we look at Jesus’ words in the verse today, we see that coming to Christ makes us free. He sets us free from those things and He fills us with His Spirit so we can be loose of those things. As Denny and I travel to Iowa this week, it’s my prayer that we will be a blessing to all with whom we come in contact and let them know how Jesus sets us free from all forms of bondage. Please pray for us to have a successful trip!

The great thing is that when we mess up, He is patient and kind and gently and lovingly guides us back on track. He wants to always be number One in our lives, and that’s His greatest passion! He wants us to live free indeed! I am praying that you will be touched by this and helped any way you might need it. If you know anyone who might be helped by these messages, please feel free to give them my number. We love you all! 🙏🏻🥰✝️

Commitment to God's Will & Purpose

Sunday Message Sept. 3

Commitment to God’s Will and Purpose

“”But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause—” Job 5:8 NKJV “For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:” Hebrews 10:36 NKJV

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” Hebrews 12:28 NKJV

Yesterday, the word commitment came to me for this week’s blog. In our lives today, we must ask the question, “How committed to God’s calling are we?” As you and I ponder this question, we must look at what’s got our attention the most in our lives. For so many, the list of distractions is endless. We each know what they really are.

As Christians, we must continually look at our lives and reflect on what we are doing that is bringing us closer to God and fulfilling His purpose in our lives. It is really a labor of love to follow Jesus. It’s the biggest commitment we will ever make. How are you doing? Are there things that need to be changed in order to accomplish His work? Are you and I committed to running the race and staying committed to His purpose?

This week, as we celebrate Labor Day, why not take a few moments and consider the verses mentioned above and see how you measure up on the commitment scale? Like me, maybe you will find some areas are fully committed while others need improvement. Let’s strive to stay focused on our commitment to God and be blessed as we do! It’s a labor of love.

♥️ Praying for you 🙏🏻

Love and blessings in Christ Jesus our Lord! Hanny Stearns 🙏🏻🥰✝️

Sunday Message August 27 2023

“The God Who Comforts”

“As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”” Isaiah 66:13 NKJV

““Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God.” Isaiah 40:1 NKJV

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,” II Corinthians 1:3 NKJV

When we started out in life, we needed a lot of comfort. That would come from our fathers and especially our mothers. As we went on, we continued to need comfort from loving parents, siblings and even friends. As we aged, we never really stopped needing to be comforted, for one reason if not another. Into our old age we will need comfort every day of our lives. This what we need to see today. No matter what we go through, there is only one faithful Comforter. That is our God. Yes, we may turn to many things for comfort, but the only true Source of lasting comfort will come from Father God through His Holy Spirit. Today, no matter what we are going through, we are reminded by the Lord to look 👀 to the Him Who can bring comfort that will last. Remember that we need to keep Him our first “go to” when we need it. Thank you for allowing me to minister this word each week. I pray it blesses you greatly. If you know anyone who may benefit from this little blog, please feel free to have them contact me. I love you all in the Lord! Have a blessed week! ✝️🙏🏻🥰😘
