Steadfast Devotion

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭58‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with the remembrance of all that God has done over the past year. As we enter into the season of Christmas, I was reminded this morning that the first thing we need to maintain through it all is steadfast devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

May our passion burn brighter for Him and the fire in our soul be obvious to those around us as a result of all our Beloved Savior has done for us. How amazing that He came as a Lamb for us to die and save us from destruction so we could have a daily encounter with His precious Spirit!

He tells us to be steadfast and immovable always abounding in His work - the work of the Kingdom of God. This will mean keeping Him always in front of us as our First and most important love. ❤️ After that, it’s about doing the work He called us to do and be diligent about it! Nothing can compare to the work He calls us into.

May we go into this coming week with our minds fixed on Jesus and doing the work He has called us to do with a renewed passion so others can really see that something is different about us! Let the Jesus in you this week and in the time to come be seen by everyone you encounter so they too will want to join in the great work we are called to do in these times!

Thanksgiving- What’s it really all about?

 Sunday Message Nov 19

Thanksgiving-What’s it really all about?

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭105‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It’s that time of year once again. The autumn season has come, and the weather is just a bit cooler. People are making great plans for family and friends to gather.

Robust dinner plans are in the making and it’s busy, busy, busy as we go to and fro, adding our holiday preparations to our already overloaded schedules.

This morning in my time with the Lord I was reminded to keep the main thing the main thing. What is that you ask? It’s taking the time to be thankful to God for all He has done for us all year long.

The original Thanksgiving was all about that. Yes, they made a meal to celebrate. The ones who survived that first season were more than grateful to God for sustaining them through all the difficulties they had to face.

There were many who risked their lives to come to a land where they could be spiritually free and worship the one true God! For the few who actually made it, we can be sure they knew why they were celebrating!

God had brought them through and honored their plight to come to a place where He would be thanked and welcomed as the Head at their table and keeper of their lives.

Many of us have had challenges and trials of one sort or another since the last time we gathered to give Him thanks. There’s one thing I have learned about that. No matter the pain, difficulties or trials, He is still passionately in love with us, His people.

We are still here and He is still healing, comforting and providing. God goes before us each day and helps us keep on going in good times and in bad.

This year, I pray that we will all take the time to stop and really remember the true purpose for this holiday. I pray we will be grateful no matter what and be passionate about our adoration of Who Jesus is and all He has saved us from!

May we continue to pray for all those we know who needs it, including Israel and the Ukraine. Let’s continue to be thankful as His children every day, and keep praying for a mighty revival among all the nations, so we will see the highway of people going to Jerusalem to praise the Lord!

May your Thanksgiving be so blessed and invite someone who doesn’t have anyone to share the day with!

Please feel free to share this with family and friends and give them my number.

These blogs go out individually, not as a group text!

We love you all in Jesus! ✝️❤️🙏🏻

Love Comfort Rest

 Love, Comfort & Rest

“And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.” ‭‭

Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭30‬

‭NKJV‬‬ In this last week we had many opportunities to meet with people and pray for them as we helped folks with their Medicare health insurance. There was a lot of pouring ourselves out, so between figuring out people’s prescriptions, doctors and what plan is best, beside the greater part of praying, Sunday comes leaving us feeling a bit drained and in need of God’s love, comfort and rest.

At church today, that was coming through from the Lord to just come to Him and rest. He said He loves us so much. I was reminded this morning in the Word that He is the God of all comfort. That’s just the thing that we need from the only one who can give it the way we need it the most!

Perhaps you have had a very busy week like most of us and just need to stop and take a break and breathe in Jesus’ love, compassion and rest today.

As we go through this week, my prayer is that we continue to receive His love, strength, emotional and spiritual rest along with His wonderful guidance everywhere He leads us.

If you would like others to receive these weekly blogs, feel free to give them my number. I love you all dearly and thank God for each one of you! ✝️🙏🏻😘

You Never Know Who You Can Help

 Sunday Message Nov 5

“You Never Know Who You Can Help” ““The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭50‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It has been another very busy week helping people with their insurance. Tis the season. We also had many opportunities to pray with and for people, everywhere we went carrying God’s presence to people who were weary for one reason or another.

I went in to order a sandwich at one place, and a sweet young gal came up to help me. She was very young and pretty, yet she looked tired and weary. All I did was ask if she was ok and she confirmed she was tired. I agreed that she certainly looked tired. Next, I asked her if she knew Jesus and she said yes. She told me she used to go to church but hasn’t for a long time. I told her that Jesus loves her very much and wants her to come back to Him. First one tear trickled out, and then her sweet face became flooded with tears. At that point I reassured her that He would comfort her and she thanked me.

Later in the week I certainly needed some reassurance myself. I went to pick up a smoothie for us and I was nudged by Holy Spirit to tell the young lady serving me that Jesus loved her. She smiled and looked me right in the eye and said, “He loves you too.” That touched me so deeply.

I see it again and again how He uses us to touch so many people, always wanting us to come closer to Him. Let’s think about that this week. Spending time loving Him first, and then allowing Him to use us to touch others. Many times it’s such a simple comment that can touch someone in the deepest place!

May you have a blessed week. Feel free to share my number with anyone who might like to receive these blogs! God bless you ✝️🙏🏻🥰😘
