“Multiplying God’s Word Around the Globe”

Chapter Reading for Today: Please read in your Bible before proceeding. Note that most translations are considered paraphrases. The Young’s Literal Translation provides a more accurate translation since he is the one who authored a concordance. Others are helpful for seeing a different perspective, but we cannot always depend on their wording. I trust this is helpful to you. If you are studying in another version, that is fine. I am studying from the KJV.
***Please note a change! We will look at everything for our basic study from the King James Version going forward. It is helpful to stay with one solid version as we study so as not to cause confusion. I may add other translations for specific scriptures as the Lord directs.
One final note: I will put the scripture in italics to differentiate from my own writing. I am adding red to the letters when it is Jesus talking – just like the Bible. Thank you.

Bible Gateway Verse of the Day
1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Psalm 98
For He Hath Done Marvelous Things!
This short little chapter packs a powerful punch with a call to praise the Lord loudly, passionately, with songs from the Psalms; with loud instruments, and for good reason. His strength and His right ways have given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! Hallelujah! Let’s pray…
Heavenly Father:
How awesome are Your ways toward the sons of men! Your mercy is new every morning. Your love, Your healing power and Your deliverance are a wonder for all the world to see. Thank You Lord for all You have done for Your chosen people in the sight of all the world. Oh, that they may really see how great You are and come running to the only true God, Savior and Healer. Father, I ask You today to give me the anointing and utterance to speak Your word in this message with boldness, clarity and accuracy. I also ask that it be done in a spirit of excellence as You, the excellent One speak through me. Open the eyes of our spirit man on the inside to see and receive all that You have for us. Bring people to the message and cause them to rejoice with me in who You are and all You have done for us! Truly it is marvelous in our eyes, just like Mary sang. Father, I ask that this message will go to Your intended recipients unhindered and unchecked by any outside force or my flesh. Bring them healing, comfort, joy and a new song Father. Help them to jump up in their own homes and rejoice loudly in You with songs and hymns and spiritual songs, making music and melody in their hearts to You. Father, we will purpose in our hearts to be doers of Your holy word and not hearers only. Thank You for always watching over Your word to perform it in our lives when we obey You. Bring glory to Yourself in us and through us in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen.
What a day this has been for me! I am excited to share some of what the Lord has done for me with you. In doing this, I can explain something that he revealed to me so that you too can be blessed. He is so good. He fills our cup (our hearts) and He causes them to run over. That means that once He has filled us and we are full, we have everything we need for the moment. Then the Lord causes our cups to run over. By doing that, He has given us not only what we need but plenty to share with others. Anyone who is going to minister to others must first be filled themselves.
As a minister of the word of God, I must remain as a student at all times. In addition, I must have a deep and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus on a personal level. I am to study, learn and grow all the days of my life. I need healing and deliverance from past wounds. I am a child of God. But my calling is to be a preacher and teacher. How can I preach and teach about something I know not? Or how can I give away something I myself do not even have? It is impossible. As one who leads and shepherds God’s people, I must be led and shepherded, (guided) by The Shepherd – Jesus. This way, everyone gets blessed; first I get blessed and then you get blessed! What a deal! Glory to God!
Today when I was doing some things around the house before starting to prepare for this lesson, the Lord was already directing my footsteps in a particular direction. It was amazing as always. We do not know how He does what He does, but, like Mary sang, it is marvelous in our eyes! The title for today’s message bears the song in our hearts! Loud songs of passionate praise are certainly due to our great God and King for He hath done wonderful things for the children of men – especially His chosen people in the sight of all the earth – praise His name forever!
I have had an email sitting in my email in box for several weeks from the person I call my grandfather in the faith – brother Kenneth Copeland. In it, he is recommending a new worship CD called “One Worship.” It was just released this year. Today, I was cleaning up what was in the email inbox and I felt led to open it again and look at it. I have been wanting this piece of music for a while now because I know it is anointed music. The power of Holy Spirit is in it. The people producing the music are all strongly anointed by the Lord to sing. We know that worship is a “top gun” with the Lord. It shoots straight to His heart and touches it deeply while it helps us to be touched by His. Worship is powerful and it is glorious.
I found the CD on ITunes and downloaded it to my phone. Before I ever got to that step, I just played the clip where brother Kenneth was talking about the new album and while he was speaking, I began to weep. I didn’t understand why, yet. I finished doing what I was doing and then went outside to walk the puppies – our little boy and a little visiting puppy. As we walked, I began to weep deeply. I didn’t understand it but I knew from previous experience with this sort of thing that God was up to something.
Suddenly I felt as if my legs would come out from under me. They became like jelly. I could hear the voice of Holy Spirit on the inside of me say that the Spirit of the Lord was on me. I marveled. I continued to cry great deep tears from way down in my soul. As I looked around the little lake where we walk I was so grateful that there was no one around to interrupt me.
The He said He was healing me. I was grateful for that. Once in the house, He was leading me to just let it come - the waves of tears. The healing power was flowing. I asked what was being healed and if I should know what it was about. Of course, He wanted me to know and He began to reveal to me some pain and wounds that I have had since I was young that have prevented me from getting close to people. These wounds have made it hard for me to show affection, to my children and to my husband. We are talking about even getting close and hugging someone while not holding anything back. Because I had been so hurt and rejected in my youth, I had closed the door to my heart and would not allow myself to get too close to anyone. It was a fear of rejection.
As the Lord made it clear to me what He was doing I found great relief and comfort. It made me rejoice because I knew it would bring breakthrough even in my current marriage. I have a wonderful and very loving husband. He would do anything for me, holding nothing back. I too must be able to freely do the same thing - even in day to day things like warm hugs and kindness expressed between people who care about each other. Friends, these things are very important. Our past cannot be used of the enemy to hinder our present and futures. Our wounds need healing and there is only One who can bring the healing and deliverance that we need.
This morning, long before I ever knew what was going to happen early this afternoon, Holy Spirit brought a song I have been playing a lot lately, called, “Something on The Inside” to my heart. One of the lines says, “Your healing, your deliverance is right here, right now.” I had no idea why I was getting it, but I knew there had to be a reason. There was indeed. The Lord was setting me up for a move of His Spirit to set me free of the chains that were still binding my heart from the past. Hallelujah. After all that crying I laid down for a nap that lasted nearly two hours. When I got up I felt so good and refreshed. Praise His name forever. Here is a verse that the Lord took me to today…
Psalm 32:7
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
When I heard brother Copeland talking, I began to weep. When I listened to the samples before I made the purchase, I continued to weep. The Lord was bringing me a song of deliverance. Friend, if we will be open to the leading of Holy Spirit, we will get the healing and the victory in our lives. I followed what He was leading me to do. Look at this word…
Psalm 119:60
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
I had a note card with this verse on it that I pulled out from my little scripture card box for the day. On it, I had a note written about this verse…
1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Indeed, God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ – hallelujah! God is strong and His ways are right. He knows all things in a man’s heart – even the deep hidden places of pain. He wants to heal us and He does it for all the world to see – even the heathen. No one on the earth can deny that salvation has come to the world. The Lord never forgot His covenant of mercy to His people Israel. And we, even as Gentiles are now His people even though once we were not His people. What God did was to plant Jesus in His holy mountain as a sign and an invitation of salvation, once for all. Look at this…
1 John 1:1-4
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
What God has done for mankind should cause all the people to sing and praise Him loudly, passionately, with voice and instruments. Remember how David praised the Lord. That is a blessing to the Lord’s heart. Holding nothing back. Forgetting about what others think or who is watching. We go before the Lord loudly with songs of great praise. He has been so good to mankind in His unending mercy and tremendous grace. He is worthy of all our praise! Even the earth is called to praise the Lord as the seas roar and the hills rejoice.
The end is coming soon. With that in mind, look at what we are called to do…
1 Peter 4:7
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
There’s coming a day when the wedding feast time will arrive. The heathen (lost people who have not received Jesus as their Lord and Savior) will no longer have a chance to come in to the kingdom of God. And they will have no excuse. According to our chapter today, He has clearly revealed salvation to all mankind, both His chosen ones and to the world at large. Look at this…
Matthew 22:1-14
22 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Friend, are you one of the chosen ones? Are you one who has accepted the call to salvation through Jesus Christ? Do you need healing in your soul from past wounds and hurts? If you answered yes to any of those questions, your healing, your salvation, your deliverance is right here, right now. All you have to do is ask for it and it is yours. The Lord will give freely to anyone who asks. The question is, will you receive?
allelujah!

There are three main points to consider from today’s study…

God has made salvation obvious to all mankind through Jesus Christ
The Lord is our Healer and our Deliverer
When the Lord touches our lives, we have great reason to praise Him passionately and loudly

Questions:

What touched you the most in this message?

How were you able to apply this to your own life today?

In what way do you believe this will change your thinking for the future?

Who can you share this study with?

What new song are you singing to the Lord these days? Is it loud?

Let’s pray…

Heavenly Father:

Thank You for Your mighty healing power. Thank you for the tender way that You bring the hurt that is deep in our hearts out so gently and lovingly. Thank You for putting a new song of praise in my heart that bursts forth from my lips with loud passionate praise! I live to worship You Lord for all You are and for all You do. Show me what I need to see in this lesson today and help me to fully grasp everything that You have for me in it. Thank You for the answer to this prayer in Jesus precious name. Amen.

And God Said… You fill in the blanks.

Luke 1:46-55
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
54 He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
