Look at
the verses below...
But
the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever
brighter unto the perfect day. (Proverbs 4:18)
Here is
how the Passion Translates it and I really like tis deeper look...
But
the lovers of God walk on the highway of light, and their way shines
brighter and brighter until the perfect day.
Look at
Isiah 26:7
The
way of the just is uprightness, O Most Upright, You weigh the path of
the just.
Matthew
5:14
You
are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be
hidden.
Phil.
2:15
...that
you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault
in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you
shine as lights in the world.
2 Samuel
23:4
And
he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises. A
morning without clouds, like the tender grass springing out of the
earth, by clear shining after rain.
Psalm
37:23
The
steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He (God) delights in
his way.
I woke up
to the song, "Reckless Love of God." Today while we wait
for His soon return, Jesus is looking for us to walk closely with
Him, being led by Him in a dark world. He wants a passionate bride,
those whom He loves and created for His purpose, to follow Him
closely and then shine as His lights to the rest of the world on His
behalf.
You might
be going to church meetings, but are you really connected to the Holy
Spirit's promptings? Listen, Jesus talked about the lost sheep that
He left the 99 and went out to get the ones that maybe acknowledged
God but are not in the house of God in fellowship and are wandering
on their own. See Luke 15:4-7...
“What
man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not
leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which
is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on
his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together
his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I
have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there
will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over
ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
Or what
about those that go to church on Sunday, but they are not born again
or loving God by doing what He says, loving Him and then loving
others, living as though there was no God in this world? Look at this
in Luke 15:8-10...
“Or
what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not
light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds
it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors
together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which
I lost!’ Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the
angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
In these
days, the Lord is calling His children into a full time surrendered
and fully committed life of following His path. If you don't see your
path as being very bright these days, or if your love and commitment
to Jesus has been waning, this is the time to repent and get back on
the right path.
Look a
little further in the book of Luke chapter 15, and we see the
reckless love of our heavenly Father just waiting with a ring and a
robe to welcome you back into His loving arms! Oh what love that no
person could ever extend. Run to the Father! Run to the bright path
and receive His love and joy. He will leave the 99 to come after you.
He will comb through the church meetings to capture your heart. His
love is just that relentless.
