DEEP CALLS TO DEEP

Deep Calls To Deep

I saw a great big pool in a dream last night! There was a man rubbing the handle bar with a cloth that led down into the pool. It was empty. He was at the deep end, and I heard a voice saying, "That's deep!" It was probably my voice. When I looked at the length of the pool, it was very long. And the deep end was very deep.

When I came to spend time with the Lord, I came to a song that began to touch my soul. One song led to another, and the tears flowed. I was reminded again just like yesterday about the deep passion that Jesus stirred up in my heart back in 2005 at a Church in Plymouth, Michigan. I could see myself with hands lifted high as I praised my newfound love of my life - Jesus!

I heard something yesterday afternoon that really threw me for a loop. It was "You are going to go back to Michigan." I thought that couldn't be God saying that! But today, I see that He meant spiritually. I would go back to that place when I first fell in love with Jesus at Northridge Church. Another "Wow God!"

The songs kept rolling and so did my tears. It's like falling in love with Jesus all over again. Here are some verses that began to speak to me as I opened the Word of God.

Amos 5:24 AMP “But let justice run down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream [flowing abundantly]."

I thought, "Wow!" Everything seems to be pointing to water! Even today as we finally went out to walk our Jesse, we noticed there were men working on the pool!

As I proceeded to read in the Word, I looked at the book of Amos, chapters 5-9. It was a judgment against Israel for they had not sought the Lord. He was calling them to seek Him and live, and in the end of the book, He brings restoration. Thank You Jesus!

Next, I looked at this verse... Psalm 42:7 Deep calls to deep at the [thundering] sound of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me. This looks to me like Jesus is at the deep end and He is calling me, (us) to the deeper places with Him.

The beginning of Psalm 42 shows a cry of the heart - in verse 1 - as the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You O God. Verse 2 says my soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Once again, I continue to see the whole theme about water and being thirsty for God. Our soul needs to be filled with His Spirit.

I heard this in my spirit as I was getting showered this morning, "The well is deep." Look at this in John 4. My last blog talked about the woman at the well. She looked at Jesus when He offered her water and here is what she said, " The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?

More about the water, representing Holy Spirit. Look at this... "But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

All I can say is "Wow God!" There aren't enough hallelujah's we can sing compared to the Spirit of God bringing revelation to the Church today! This is touching me so deeply. I felt the Lord calling me to leave the stack of work alone for a time with Him. He was speaking to me so profoundly, and I had to set everything aside to come to the well and get replenished. Everything else had to take a back seat to this. Eating and other work had to wait.

When I continued through my study this morning, I saw this... 2 Cor. 4:17-18 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

My heart cries out to myself, my husband, my family and all the Church that we have got to stop playing Church and get back to our First Love - Jesus! It's all about Him and coming to that well of Living Water that can only be found in Him! It's the call of God to us all right now to move past the things of this world and get into the realm of the Spirit of God and allow Him to take us to the deeper places.

Here is a song that He is putting on my heart, "Prophecy the Promise." Check it out. In it, they sing to God that He will finish the good work He started in us. See Philippians 1:6. He is just getting started. All we have to do is come. Jesus is calling. He is waiting. Our souls need Him so much!

My heart's cry is that we read this and share it with as many as possible. Last month, this blog reached well over 1300 people all over the world! God is sending His Word out to the nations! We are reaching many in Hong Kong among several other countries! He is amazing. Be blessed and filled my dear friend, and pass this message along to others.

We love you so much!

Love and blessings!

The Woman at The Well

An Encounter with Jesus will Change Everything!

The Woman at the Well

This is another experiential message coming from a humble heart to yours my sisters and brothers. I recommend that you look at the book of John chapter 4 if you have the time. This is a story of a woman who needed to know Who her real Savior was. She had come to the well to draw water, but she found something far more lasting - eternally, a well of water that would never run dry! And there sat Jesus!

To her surprise, He knew all the junk in her life and went against Jewish custom to meet with her and reveal Himself to her. When she talked about the coming Messiah, here is His response, Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.

Yesterday, when I went to our church service, I was seeking Jesus on a deeper level. I needed to hear from Him, to receive something freeing and comforting from Him. I found myself before the altar on my knees in worship. I repented of everything I could think of as I bowed before our holy God.

The tears came, and then the comfort. I needed to bring to Him all the stuff I have been dealing with personally and let go of any fear, doubt, worry and unbelief that I may have displayed in my life. I understand that as Christians, we may want to appear to others as though we have it all together, but in reality, I never met anyone who wasn't dealing with something.

When Jesus patiently took the time to meet with this woman, He was willing to lovingly point out the things in her life that were not working right. She had been going through the motions of her daily duties each day, including seeking water from a well in the ground. But Jesus, in His great love and compassion, chose to not only bring out the "issues" she had, but He wanted to reveal Himself to her.

When He told her He is the Messiah, she dropped the things she had been doing every day to pursue the super natural. He exposed the "root" of her problems, then He showed her the way to eternal life. Her response was to go back to her town and tell everyone about Him, causing them to run to Him and see for themselves.

This is a twofold message. First, we need Jesus to reveal to us the deep things we may be struggling with and maybe are not really dealing with. Yesterday, I kept seeing things that showed me that I needed to get rid of some old stuff, and be filled with the new. Church, we need to keep the fire burning bright to go tell others what Jesus has done for us.

Many people received Jesus that day as a result of her revelation. I want to be like that all the days of my life. But most importantly, and before all that, I want to be free of anything old that has been bothering me in my life. I came to the Lord in a life of surrender back in 2005, and since then He has worked with me faithfully to help me as I sought to go bring others to Him.

This is the purpose of the Fish N Loaves Ministries. We are reaching more people globally than ever before thanks to God! But we have to remember that no matter how long we are walking with Jesus, we need Him first and foremost. We need to go to Him and get refilled and refreshed in His presence. From there, we can share with others from the overflow of our relationship with Him.

It's like a non stop well of living water flowing from our insides as the scripture says,

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Friends, this is the well we want to tap into every day. And thank God for His mercies that are new every morning. When we miss the mark, He will always bring us back around to the beauty of His much needed presence. I had to get a fresh revelation of this these past few days. I pray that you will also. It's not just this or that, it's spending time in His presence, His Word, and then doing the work He has called us to do.

We are praying for you. Please feel free to share this with others and encourage them to sign up for these weekly blogs. We thank you for your prayers for us as we pray for all of you. Be encouraged because God never gives up on us. We need to just keep walking with Jesus every day and trust He will do the greater things in and through us.

Love and blessings!

COMING BACK TO A HEART of WORSHIP

Subject: Coming Back to a Heart of Worship

Touching Jesus will Change Your Heart!

Mary Magdalene crying of shame and embalming Jesus feet

The Heart of Worship

This message is really from my heart today and I hope it encourages you in the Lord. As I was up and praying before our Church service today, I was hearing songs that really touched my heart and spoke to me. The first one that I woke up with is called "We praise You." It's about praise being a weapon against our enemy. It helps us to overcome anxiety, it turns what seems dark into light. It breaks down what seems to be a wall in our life, and it helps us to slay the giants we face.

Praise works miracles when we think we are just singing. The Bible is full of praise and thanks verses, especially in the Psalms. Our Pastor said something pretty significant today. On Facebook, everyone looks like their lives are just wonderful with all the family and friends' pictures. But what's really going on in most people's lives is something that only we can deal with when we come before the Lord in worship and praise.

Today, as I was worshipping the Lord, Holy Spirit impressed another song on my heart, "The Heart of Worship." This touched me deeply and I began to weep. Like the picture at the top of the page showing Mary Magdalene at Jesus' feet, the Lord is looking for our heartfelt worship. It may be one song that pulls the plug on our hearts, or it may take two or three. When we come to Him sincerely seeking to encounter Him, Jesus will always meet us there.

I think this week is just meant to be a strong encourager to the body of Christ that nothing will ever touch us like Jesus does. No people, places or things can touch and comfort and encourage us like Holy Spirit when He moves in the room where we meet with Him.

As human and imperfect as we are, He always seems to help us see His love and perfection and it melts our hearts. Today, I just want to pray for you, my reader, and encourage you to keep taking that time to be with Jesus every morning, knowing He is with you and for you and ready to receive your love and adoration. He is also ready and willing to pour out His love on you and me. All we have to do is keep that first part of the day on reserve for Him.

At Fish N Loaves Ministries, Denny & I continue to see people every week and minister to them one way or another. Some are open to the gospel, others are not. Still, we pray for them. Please keep us in prayer for strength, wisdom and guidance from Holy Spirit as we lift you all in prayer. Be blessed my brothers and sister in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

Ten Cannons in My Heart - Read About This Dynamic Book!

Ten Cannons in My Heart

Today I am excited to tell people that the book that God laid on my heart 12 years ago is finally available to the public! I have sent out an email blast to the people we know about this great achievement. Today I just want to give the Lord praise for what He has done!

When you get a copy of this book, you will see the testimony. When I was living in Naples in 2012, the Lord asked me to write this book about my life. When I asked Him what to name it, one day He gave me the title as clear as if there was someone externally speaking to me.

What I originally wrote was much longer than this book, but now I see that breaking it into two parts is the way to do it. This way, you can see the first and biggest part about how I came to know the Lord and surrender my life to Him through teachings on the Ten Commandments, of all things.

This was a real God moment for me back in 2005 when I realized more about Who He is and how much I needed Him. The second part of the book, yet to be released, is about the life of miracles I have led, including my call to come to Florida and follow Jesus.

I was told back in the early years of my time in Florida that He would make me a fisher of men. Since then, I have had a burning desire to tell people about Jesus. I am here to encourage everyone who reads these blogs each week and those who will read the book that whatever God has called you to do, go for it! It will not be easy. No, there will be many challenges, but the work and the rewards far outweigh the trials.

When we struggle to see the vision and dreams God has placed in us come to pass, we need to keep believing and keep moving forward in spite of obstacles. And there will be many. Our job is to overcome them, kick them out of the way, and keep on going. We need to walk holy to the Lord and obey His calling. He will reward the efforts.

There have been things that hindered this book release from coming out sooner, but the Lord is faithful. I haven't always understood the "why" of things, but I knew that I had to keep pressing forward. The Lord never leaves us or forsakes us, and He is there to help us every single step of the way. Our job is to move forward in faith, one step at a time.

Be encouraged my friend! If you have a marketplace ministry, or a call to lead a church congregation, just keep stepping forward and allow the Lord to lead you. I am a witness that as Jesus said, "With God, all things are possible." He is mighty to save in every situation.

If you're being nudged to write a book, get to it. If it is to go here or do that, whatever it is, just do it. Jesus' mother told His disciples, "Whatever He says, do it." They did, and a miracle unfolded right before their eyes. Friends, it's no different today. Take a moment and listen to the song, "Champion." Forget past failures and disappointments. Don't let them define you. Just go forward into all He has for you, one step at a time. Every victory will unveil more blessings - Hallelujah!

Thanks for reading this and the book! Please share it with others. It will be a wonderful evangelism tool that I believe will lead many to a life of full devotion to Jesus.

His mother said to the servants, "whatever He says to you, do it." John 2:5 NKJV
